Accuracy

Accuracy and what each one promises

Every verifier says it is accurate. What matters is what you get back when it is not.

email-validation.org

99.2%guaranteed on bulk lists

  • We guarantee that at least 99.2% of the valid and invalid results of every bulk list are right, or we refund the difference.
  • Refund = 99.2% minus the measured accuracy, as a share of what the list cost. A list at 70% gets 29.2% back, paid to the original payment method.
  • Claim within 15 days with your bounce evidence. A person decides every claim.
  • Not covered, among others: catch-all, disposable and unknown results (unknowns are never charged) and single checks. The guarantee page lists every condition.

DeBounce

—no figure found

  • We found no overall accuracy figure on the pages of theirs we read on Oct 29, 2026 (listed in the sources); their figures are part of the guarantee below.
  • They publish a deliverability guarantee: a full refund if a qualifying list has more than 8% bounces, and extra credits when results fall short of their stated rates (batches of at least 1,000 addresses sent within 48 hours; conditions on their guarantee page).

DeBounce's site

We have not tested DeBounce's accuracy, and ours has not been independently tested either. Both publish a refund promise: DeBounce's deliverability guarantee with a full refund above 8% bounces, and our accuracy guarantee when a bulk list's valid and invalid results are less than 99.2% right, refunding the difference.

Their help center (help.debounce.com/getting-started/engine-speed/) says you will not pay for unknown results from their API; neither it nor their pricing page (debounce.com/pricing/), which lists 1 credit per validation, says so for bulk list uploads (both read Oct 25, 2026). Their pricing page says all prices include taxes and fees. Time for 1,000,000 emails: help.debounce.com/getting-started/engine-speed/ (read Oct 26, 2026). They state 200,000 emails in about 1 hour without anti-greylisting and 2 to 4 hours with it. That help article is dated Jan 18, 2022, and says the anti-greylisting wait itself is 15 to 45 minutes whatever the list size. Their pricing page (debounce.com/pricing/) says an average list of 100,000 emails is done in less than 2 hours, and their list validation page (debounce.com/solutions/email-list-validation/) takes at most 200,000 emails per list, so 1,000,000 is five lists.
