**Disposable** (`disposable`) means the address comes from a throwaway mail service whose inboxes are soon abandoned,
so remove it. Anyone can open such an inbox in seconds without signing up. It costs 1 credit and the action is
`remove`.

Check an address free with the [email checker](https://email-validation.org/email-checker/).

## Why remove them

- People use a throwaway inbox to get past a sign-up form or claim a free offer without giving their real address,
and they seldom read anything sent to it later.
- Many of these inboxes expire after minutes or hours, or can be opened by anyone who knows the address.
- **On a sign-up form,** ask for another address instead: [Validate sign-up forms](https://email-validation.org/docs/guides/signup-form-validation/)
  shows how.
- **In your sending platform,** remove the address or add it to the suppression list, so a later import cannot bring
  it back.

## Reasons

### Disposable inbox

`disposable`: The address comes from a throwaway mail service whose inboxes are usually abandoned quickly.

- **Recommended action:** Remove. Remove the address from your list or ask for another one.
- **Credit:** 1 credit when it comes from a completed check.
- **Test address:** `disposable@sandbox.email-validation.org` (free)
