## Where Hunter may be the better choice

- Their free credits renew every month (50 credits, or 100 verifications). Our 500 free credits are a one-time grant.
- Monthly plans suit steady, predictable volumes. We sell one-time packs only.
- A longer track record: our launch month is November 2026.
- Features we did not compare here, such as native integrations with other tools. Check their site for those.

## Where email-validation.org differs

- Our credits expire 24 months after they are granted; Hunter: monthly credits reset and do not roll over.
- We sell one-time credit packs, not monthly plans.
- Every account gets 500 free credits, and the first three payments earn bonus credits. See [pricing](https://email-validation.org/pricing/).
- Developer tools: OpenAPI 3.1, JavaScript/TypeScript and Python SDKs, webhooks and an [MCP server](https://email-validation.org/integrations/mcp/).

## How we compared

- We read each service's public pricing page on Oct 20, 2026 and recorded the list price of one-time packs at 10,000, 25,000, 50,000 and 1,000,000 credits. A dash means no pack of that size is listed.
- Free credits, credit expiry and unknown-result billing come from the same pricing page, unless the sources name another page of that service where we read the policy. A policy we could not confirm on a page we opened is shown as not stated.
- Limited-time promotions are left out and named in the sources. Per-1,000 prices are the pack price divided by its credits.
- Prices in USD, excluding tax. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where applicable. Other services' prices are shown as listed; where a service says its prices include tax, the sources say so.
- We compare published prices and policies only. We do not rank services or claim that any of them is the best.
- We re-check every price at least every 45 days and update the date above.
